At SnapUtsav, we take your privacy seriously. Under the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and equivalent global regulations, you have specific rights regarding your personal data. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them.
Users outside the EU/EEA or UK may have similar rights under local laws, including the CCPA/CPRA (California), PIPEDA (Canada), Privacy Act 1988 (Australia), PDPA (Singapore), PDPA 2010 (Malaysia), and DPDP Act 2023 (India). You can exercise these rights through the same process described below.
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We will provide this in a commonly used electronic format within 30 days.
Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete personal data. You can also update your profile directly in your account settings.
Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"). This includes your account, uploaded photos, and event data. Some data may be retained where legally required.
Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (e.g., JSON or CSV) for transfer to another service.
Request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances, such as while verifying accuracy or assessing an objection.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
For Event-Specific Data (Uploaded Photos)
If your request relates to photos you uploaded at a specific event, please contact the event organizer first. The organizer is the data controller for event-specific attendee data and can instruct SnapUtsav to fulfil your request (e.g., deletion of your photos).
If you cannot reach the organizer, contact us at support@snaputsav.com and we will cooperate with the organizer to assist you.
For Platform Account Data
